Job summary

United Rentals, Inc. is seeking a Sales Representative for the Reliable Onsite Services (ROS) division. You will drive profitable revenue across your geography and be the single point of contact for ROS products and services.

Responsibilities include promoting ROS offerings, targeting key customers, and collaborating with multiple sales teams. Travel will be required, with training and ongoing product education provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 3 years of technical rental sales experience or related sales background.
• Working knowledge of ROS products and applications in rental markets.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM tools.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record and ability to travel overnight.
• Strong strategic selling, negotiation and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Promote site services products, knowledge, and selling practices.
• Drive revenue in assigned geography, including new markets.
• Target customers and vertical opportunities across multiple industries.
• Include Power, Chemical, Oil & Gas, Manufacturing, Infrastructure, events, municipalities.
• Ride along with other sales reps to explore revenue opportunities.
• Use Salesforce.com and CRM tools to build a sales pipeline.
• As needed, coordinate ROS response for disaster contingency plans.
• Conduct site services training to boost awareness and product knowledge.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
