Job summary

Vishay Precision Group, Inc. (VPG) seeks a strategic Business Development Manager to grow a new division focused on robotics and consumer electronics. You will identify opportunities, open strategic relationships, and guide projects from concept to mass production.

You will work with Sales, Applications Eng, R&D, Marketing and Product Management to drive engagement and success. The role requires 7+ years in BD or strategic sales in technical markets, with travel up to 75%.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of business development or strategic sales experience in technical markets.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering or related field preferred.
• Proven success identifying and developing opportunities in robotics, sensors or electronics.
• Experience moving opportunities from concept through production lifecycle.
• Strong presentations, communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Proficient in managing a robust pipeline and using CRM tools.

Responsibilities

• Identify, prospect and develop new business opportunities in robotics and related tech markets.
• Build and expand relationships with strategic customers including new logos and top accounts.
• Develop projects from early concept through commercialization and mass production.
• Collaborate with Sales, Applications Eng, R&D, Marketing and Product Management.
• Provide market intelligence and competitive insights to guide strategy and product development.
• Maintain a strong opportunity pipeline and meet KPIs for pipeline growth.
