Tata Consultancy Services Limited in Troy, MI is seeking a Senior Engineer to lead cross-functional robotics AI programs and collaborate across engineering, manufacturing, data, and product teams. The role emphasizes strategy development, program governance, and enterprise deployment of AI-enabled solutions.

Qualifications

• Strong experience leading large, complex cross-functional technical programs with multiple teams and parallel workstreams.
• Working knowledge of Python, SQL, R, Power BI, or equivalent tools.
• Experience with Databricks and similar data platforms.
• Fluency with GenAI tools, copilots, prompt engineering, and AI-assisted workflows.
• Industry experience across AI/ML, robotics, manufacturing tech, or digital transformation with leadership of cross-functional initiatives.
• Experience with Jira and modern project/delivery tools.
• Exposure to low-code/no-code platforms such as Power Apps or AppSheet.
• Knowledge of ROS/ROS 2, NVIDIA Omniverse, Isaac Sim, or sim-to-real workflows.

Responsibilities

• Engage client executives and plant operations to define Robotics AI strategies and transformation priorities.
• Lead discovery workshops, translate challenges into use cases, and create roadmaps from experimentation to deployment.
• Program-manage multi-team AI and robotics initiatives with milestones, ownership, dependencies, risks, and success metrics.
• Collaborate across AI Research, AI Engineering, Robotics Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Data Engineering, and AI Product Management.
• Analyze program data using SQL, Python, or R.
• Develop dashboards using Power BI or Looker to monitor KPIs, model performance, deployment health, and operating metrics.
• Work with platform/data engineering teams using Databricks and related data infrastructure.
• Design GenAI workflows and AI agents to automate analysis, reporting, and operations.
• Ensure data collection, labeling, evaluation, and deployment workstreams align with program objectives.
• Proactively identify risks, remove blockers, and maintain stakeholder alignment.
