Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services in Irvine, CA seeks an AI Strategy Leader to shape and drive the company’s AI vision in line with business priorities. You will advocate responsible AI, mentor teams, and partner with department AI champions to identify high-value use cases, leveraging Vertex AI, SageMaker, and cloud platforms.

The role requires deep AI/ML expertise, strong communication, and the ability to deploy scalable AI solutions in a production environment.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication to translate AI concepts for business
• Proven ability to shape an AI strategy aligned with priorities
• Experience promoting responsible AI practices and ethics
• Mentor junior team members in best practices for AI development
• Collaborate with AI Champions across departments to identify value
• Deep knowledge of AI/ML tools and cloud platforms
• Experience building, deploying, and maintaining high-availability AI solutions
• Familiarity with cloud providers (AWS, GCP) and data lakes

Responsibilities

• Design and develop AI architectures meeting business requirements and improving operations
• Implement ML models using TensorFlow, Spark, and R
• Collaborate with data engineers on ETL for model training
• Conduct data mining and analytics to derive insights from complex datasets
• Deploy models to production with scalability and performance
• Stay updated on advancements in AI and ML
• Mentor juniors on AI development and deployment
• Assess AI use cases for feasibility, impact, and risks
• Review AI/ML solution architecture for scalability, data quality, and security
• Identify and mitigate privacy, bias, and compliance risks
