Job summary

Alston Construction seeks a Risk Management Coordinator to support its Enterprise Risk Management program under the guidance of the Director of Risk Management and the Risk Team. You will assist with insurance contracts, certificates, and project risk controls to ensure compliance and timely reporting across active projects in Atlanta.

Qualifications

• Degree in Business Administration, Risk Management, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant risk management experience.
• An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Monitor Owner Contract notifications to ensure insurance contract obligations are met.
• Track and maintain current quotes for builder’s risk insurance tracking and monitor coverage for ownership contracts.
• Work with the Risk Manager to ensure policies are reconciled and updated for all projects, communicating deficiencies clearly.
• Prepare Workers Compensation postings for each project and ensure compliance with requirements.
• Request and maintain insurance certificates in line with Owner/ Vendor contract requirements.
• Maintain Owner Contract Matrix updates for all active projects and distribute as needed.
• Assist with RFQs, RFPs, project assessments, contracts and provide insurance materials.
• Determine required certificates for issuance and manage renewal evidence of insurance.
• Track Contractors Equipment Schedules and report to regulatory agencies as needed.
• Participate in meetings and calls related to risk management processes and incident handling.
• Ensure subcontractor certificates, additional insured, and waiver of subrogation endorsements meet contract requirements.
• Assist in claims administration and maintain claims tracking databases.
• Maintain risk management department files and organize shared folders.
• Assist with OCIP enrollments and administration.
• Respond to SPERS requests for risk categories to support risk review by senior management.
• Other related duties as assigned.
