Job summary

Alston Construction in Atlanta, GA, is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to lead, direct and coordinate the overall management of assigned projects. The goal is to complete work safely, on schedule, within budget, and to exceed profit goals while maintaining strong client relationships and the company’s image.

Responsibilities include ensuring quality completion, reviewing contract and design documents for risk, maintaining document control and close-out deliverables, and creating a detailed

Qualifications

Degree in Construction Management, Engineering or related field.
Design-build experience on relevant project types.
Valid driver's license with satisfactory driving record.

Responsibilities

Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
Review contract and design documents for conflicts and constructability.
Maintain document control and submit close-out documents including as-built drawings.
Coordinate with the Superintendent to meet schedule, budget and safety goals.
Create and monitor a detailed master project schedule with progress reporting.
Lead or support responses to RFPs, site investigations and preliminary design.
Other related duties.
