Job summary

You will monitor fill rates, collaborate with internal teams on forecasting, manage item data integrity, and support vendor relationships to meet everyday and promotional needs, with strong communication across the supply chain.

Qualifications

• High school diploma with two years related experience or training.
• College degree considered a plus.
• Retail/distribution purchasing experience preferred.
• Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Experience using a computerized forecasting system desired.
• Pet industry experience desired.

Responsibilities

• Procure vendor lines for assigned store locations, ensuring fill rate and inventory targets are met.
• Collaborate with internal and external teams to forecast new items and promotional usage to support anticipated demand.
• Assure item data integrity including costing and other item maintenance fields.
• Participate in vendor relationships and communications to optimize procurement.
• Collaborate with upper management to maintain inventory levels and meet operational needs.
