Job summary

Pet Zoo Alaska is seeking an individual to support warehousing functions at our Palmer retail store. The role involves picking, packing, transfers, inventory control and maintaining a clean, safe warehouse environment.

Ideal candidates have 6 months of computer experience, familiarity with MS Office, and the ability to lift 50–100 lbs. Flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays are required.

• Stand for extended periods and lift 50–100 lbs regularly as part of the job.
• Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with customers during carry-out and provide prompt service.
• Accurately pick, wrap, and process transfers; maintain inventory accuracy.
• Stock shelves, price merchandise, and rotate stock safely and efficiently.
• Receive product using scanners and ensure proper line-item records.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety in all warehouse areas.
