Job summary

UT Federal Credit Union is seeking a strategic leader for the role of VP, Director of Retail Operations at our UTFCU Corporate Office. You will oversee Deposit Operations, Electronic Payments, Card Services, Fraud & Disputes, and related retail functions to support member growth and service excellence.

You will develop forward-looking operational strategies, drive process improvements, strengthen controls and risk management, and build high-performing teams through coaching and succession

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Operations Management, Accounting, or related field
• Eight or more years of progressive leadership experience within a financial institution
• Proven track record leading operational teams, process improvement initiatives, and organizational change
• Strong understanding of operational risk, compliance, controls, and financial services operations
• Experience developing leaders and building scalable, high-performing teams

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and oversight for operational functions within Retail division
• Develop and execute forward-looking operational strategies
• Lead process improvement, automation, and modernization efforts
• Strengthen workforce readiness and succession planning
• Ensure strong operational controls, compliance, risk management, and audit readiness
• Utilize data and analytics to improve performance, service quality
• Build high-performing teams and cultivate a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement
