Applegreen USA Welcome Centers Central Services in Glen Rock, NJ is seeking a Category Manager to lead category strategy, assortment, pricing and promotions across our retail portfolio.

You will collaborate with Operations, Marketing, Supply Chain and vendors, negotiate terms, manage forecasts and drive growth. The role requires strong analytics, vendor relations, and leadership abilities in a fast-paced environment.

Hybrid work arrangement (3 days in office) in Glen Rock, NJ.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Merchandising, or related field.
• 5+ years in retail buying, category management, merchandising, or procurement.
• Strong supplier negotiation experience and vendor management.
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills; data-driven decision making.
• Excellent planning, organization and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop category strategies to drive sales, margin and customer satisfaction.
• Manage product assortment, pricing, promotions and merchandising plans.
• Lead vendor negotiations and joint business plans with suppliers.
• Collaborate with Operations, Marketing, Supply Chain and Finance.
• Provide accurate forecasts, budgets and performance reporting.
