The role emphasizes analytical rigor, strategic planning, and leadership to deliver growth, working in a hybrid setup with in-office days in New Jersey.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in business-related field.
• Minimum 5 years in retail buying, category management, merchandising, or procurement.
• Strong supplier negotiation and vendor relationship skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools.
• Excellent planning, organization and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute category strategies to grow sales and margins.
• Manage product assortment, pricing, promotions, and merchandising plans.
• Analyze sales, margin, and customer data to identify trends and opportunities.
• Lead vendor negotiations and develop joint business plans with suppliers.
• Mentor junior team members and foster cross-functional collaboration.
