Job summary

North Star Community Credit Union seeks a Retail Branch Manager for the Minot AFB location to lead people, grow lending, and serve military members and families. You will own branch success, build strong relationships, and drive operational excellence with a team dedicated to member service.

Qualifications

3-5 years of leadership experience in a credit union, banking, or financial services environment.
Associate degree or an equivalent combination of education, certifications, specialized training, and relevant experience.

Responsibilities

Coach, develop, and empower employees to grow in their roles and deliver an exceptional member experience.
Translate organizational goals into branch priorities and create clear plans for achieving them.
Own branch results, including lending, new accounts, member relationships, service, and operational performance.
Identify lending opportunities, coach employees to have meaningful financial conversations, and underwrite and approve loans within assigned authority.
Look for better ways to serve members, improve processes, strengthen efficiency, and grow the branch.
Develop meaningful connections with members and strengthen North Star's presence within the Minot AFB community.
Maintain strong internal controls, regulatory compliance, security, staffing, scheduling, reporting, and overall operational excellence.
Approach challenges with sound judgment, accountability, and a solutions-focused mindset.
