Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Senior Integrated Master Scheduler to lead the development, maintenance, and reporting of a resource-loaded Integrated Master Schedule for a Fort Meade program. The role requires coordinating with Government stakeholders and cross-functional teams to ensure timely, compliant delivery of mission-critical IT and defense initiatives.

The ideal candidate will drive schedule integrity, perform critical-path analysis, manage risks, and mentor others while working in a SCIF daily.

Qualifications

• Ten (10) years of progressively responsible scheduling experience.
• Lead or principal IMS for multi-workstream programs.
• Expertise with MS Project including resource loading, fixed-work tasks, baselining, and logic.
• Experience with IMS concepts per DI-MGMT-81861 and MIL-STD-881.
• Strong communication and leadership skills with cross-team conflict resolution.
• Willing to travel up to 10% and support non-standard hours.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and update the program’s IMS baseline and forecast.
• Build a resource-loaded, logically linked schedule with tasks, durations, milestones, and dependencies.
• Decompose work into measurable activities with durations, logic, and status methods.
• Ensure schedule traceability to WBS, data dictionary, and contract requirements.
• Establish baselines, forecasts, calendars, and configuration-control.
• Conduct monthly IMS updates and prepare reports for leadership and Government.
• Analyze critical paths, total float, and forecast impacts; identify risks and mitigation options.
• Mentor personnel on schedule discipline and status collection.
• Support program reviews and planning events with current data and briefings.
• Coordinate inputs across technical, operational, logistics, staffing, and management functions.
• Ensure IMS conforms to contract data-item requirements and program standards.
• Develop and maintain schedule documentation and change logs.
• Work in a SCIF daily.
