Job summary

Leidos Inc. is seeking an experienced IMS Scheduler to develop, maintain, and analyze Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) to support program execution.

The role collaborates with program managers, functional leads, subcontractors, and staff to align schedules with scope, requirements, resources, and budgets. Responsibilities include monitoring performance, identifying risks and critical path impacts, supporting program reviews, and generating schedule reports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of project/program management experience or Master's with 6–10 years of prior relevant experience (degree may be replaced by eligible experience).
• Must be a U.S. citizen and possess a minimum of a Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance.
• In‑depth IMS project skill required to facilitate meetings and work one‑on‑one to ascertain project activities, resources, requirements, predecessors, successors, impacts, milestones, etc.
• Proven working knowledge of MS Project and/or other schedule management tools (e.g., MS Project Server, Deltek OpenPlan).
• Strong knowledge of scheduling theory and related best practices (e.g., PASEG).
• Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) architecture (e.g., WBS or IMP based) experience.
• Proven knowledge of Critical Path.
• Baseline change control and IMS configuration management experience.
• Ability to work independently with overall responsibility for the Master Schedule.
• Proven ability to work well within a team/collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Implement program scheduling rhythms, develop baseline schedules and artifacts, and monitor performance against baselines to meet objectives.
• Generate, publish, and maintain the Master Schedule with tasks and resources aligned to customer milestones.
• Collaborate with industry and government performers to develop and integrate detailed schedules into the Master Schedule.
• Develop and maintain linkages and dependencies across projects and document external dependencies for risk management.
• Identify milestones, decision points, and critical path and manage baseline changes weekly.
• Conduct 'what if' scenario analysis and enforce schedule version control processes.
