Job summary

Amentum seeks a Senior Integrated Master Scheduler to lead the development and maintenance of an IMS for a Fort Meade program. You will integrate plans, resources, milestones, and dependencies to enable leadership to track execution and manage risk.

The role requires close coordination with program management, technical leads, and Government stakeholders, with a focus on agile execution in a dynamic defense environment. Candidates must hold TS clearance eligibility and a bachelor’s degree.

Qualifications

• Experience as primary/senior scheduler for an IMS integrating multiple workstreams and dependencies.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Project and resource loading.
• Familiarity with WBS maintenance, baseline control, risk mgmt., schedule reporting.
• Experience with IMS principles per DoD/MIL-STD 881 and reporting standards.
• Strong communication, facilitation, and leadership skills for cross-team alignment.
• Ability to support non-standard hours and up to 10% travel.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and update the program’s IMS baseline and forecast using MS Project or approved tool.
• Create a logically networked, resource-loaded schedule with tasks, durations, dependencies, and milestones.
• Decompose work into measurable activities with proper logic, resources, and status methods.
• Ensure IMS traceability to WBS, data dictionary, contract requirements, and program artifacts.
• Maintain baselines, forecasts, calendars, coding structures, and configuration controls.
• Prepare monthly IMS updates and executive reports for leadership and Government stakeholders.
• Analyze critical path, total float, schedule margins, and forecast impacts.
• Identify risks and develop mitigations with functional leads.
• Provide schedule data for reviews, IPT meetings, and planning events.
• Coordinate inputs across technical, operations, logistics, staffing, and management.
