Responsibilities

• Underwrite and process assigned renewal policies, applying knowledge of forms, rating plans and guidelines for pricing and changes, and communicate with customers.
• Respond to agents' inquiries on coverage and adjust policy information within authority.
• Quote, accept, decline, modify and renew risks within territorial assignment per guidelines; collaborate with Agents and departments to grow a profitable book.
• Provide guidance to internal and external customers regarding underwriting information and communicate decisions clearly.
• Develop and maintain relationships with customers, peers, and management; conduct agency visits and support team goals.
• Assist in profit and growth analysis by territory and agency; monitor premium retention with electronic reporting tools.
• Conduct CLAS coverage and system training to internal and external customers.
