Foundation Risk Partners seeks a Senior Underwriter for its Corporate Synergies team in the Philadelphia metro region. The role partners with senior leadership to drive renewal strategy, analyze claims data, and ensure underwriting deliverables for both fully insured and self‑insured clients.

Key responsibilities include reviewing carrier renewals, analyzing claims, budgeting for self‑insured programs, and building pre‑renewal financial models.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred for health and welfare underwriting roles.
• Minimum of 5+ years underwriting experience with health and welfare carriers or brokerages.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; detail oriented.

Responsabilités

• Analyze carrier renewals and manage ongoing carrier interactions.
• Review proposals and underwriting materials for accuracy and completeness.
• Review and analyze claims reports and oversee self‑insured claims reporting.
• Develop self‑insured budgets and premium‑equivalent calculations.
• Prepare fully insured pre‑renewal projections and financial models.
• Participate in pre‑renewal and renewal strategy meetings with internal teams and clients.
