Job summary

RTX is seeking a procurement professional to own sourcing, RFQ processes, and purchase-order management in a remote U.S. role. You will work to ensure ITAR compliance, analyze costs, and manage supplier relationships across the supply chain.

The position emphasizes strong data discipline in ERP/MRP systems, effective negotiation, and the ability to operate in a fast-paced, high-volume environment while maintaining ethical vendor partnerships.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and a minimum 5 years of prior relevant experience, or an advanced Degree and 3 years of experience.
• U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee or asylee) or eligible to obtain necessary export authorizations required.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of end-to-end procurement process, from sourcing vendors to managing purchase orders and closure activities post-payment.
• Identify qualified vendors for products and services, ensuring ITAR and Controlled Goods compliance.
• Prepare and issue RFQs, validate quotation compliance, and perform price and delivery comparisons to select the optimal source.
• Create and manage purchase orders, ensuring compliance with contract terms and conditions.
• Proactively monitor and manage purchase orders to ensure timely delivery and address delays or issues.
• Maintain accurate electronic records, generate weekly reports, and monitor metrics.
