Job summary

RTX Corporation is seeking a procurement professional to own the end-to-end process from sourcing vendors to closing purchase orders. The role emphasizes ITAR compliance, RFQ preparation, and supplier performance monitoring in a remote US-based setting.

The ideal candidate will bring knowledge of FAR/DFARS, vendor negotiations, and strong MS Office skills to support sourcing strategies and ERP-driven workflows within a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and a minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience, or an advanced Degree in a related field.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of end-to-end procurement process from sourcing vendors to managing purchase orders and closure.
• Identify qualified vendors for products and services with ITAR and Controlled Goods compliance.
• Prepare RFQs, validate quotations, and perform price and delivery comparisons to select the optimal source.
• Create and manage purchase orders ensuring contractual and quality terms are met.
• Monitor and manage POs to ensure timely delivery and address delays or issues.
• Maintain electronic records, generate weekly reports, and monitor metrics.
