Insurance Office of America seeks an Account Manager – Employee Benefits to oversee a defined client book under producer direction. You will lead client service, coordinate the account team, manage renewals, data management, and communicate clearly to ensure high service levels while supporting sales opportunities.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in employee benefits, an active license, excellent customer service and organizational skills, and proficiency with MS Office.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of industry experience.
• Active licensing is required.
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
• Strong organizational, delegation, and decision-making abilities.
• High accuracy in handling large work volumes.
• Proficient with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• High School Diploma (or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned book of business and ensure performance targets are met.
• Deliver outstanding client service and respond quickly to requests.
• Lead the account team with a strong work ethic and collaborative mindset.
• Direct daily activities of Account Coordinators and monitor execution.
• Identify and act on sales opportunities to grow IOA business.
• Oversee new business setup, data gathering, and client education.
• Manage renewals, update files, and coordinate carrier rates and audits.
• Build and improve client relationships and advocate for clients and carriers.
• Identify value-added solutions and support team development.
• Maintain transparent communication with Producers and team members.
