Job summary

Formerra, a leading distributor of engineered materials, seeks an Account Manager to drive profitable growth. The role focuses on developing potential target customers within a defined territory and forecasting objectives for sales, margins and volume growth.

The position requires ability to sell at all management levels, build strong customer relationships, and perform independently with limited direction. Up to 75% travel is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required in Plastics or Polymer Engineering, Business, Chemistry, or related discipline or equivalent work experience.
• 5-7 years’ sales experience in distribution, manufacturing, sales, account management.
• Strong communication and professional presence, including written and verbal skills.

Responsibilities

• Profitable revenue growth and robust new business development.
• Establish, track, and close new business targets within the territory.
• Develop contact matrix and establish relationships with key decision makers.
• Coordinate with regional sales teams and technical areas to drive growth.
