Job summary

Volunteer State Community College seeks a Registrar to lead academic records, registration, and credential completion. You will steward FERPA compliance, manage the academic calendar, and ensure accurate data across modalities and campuses.

You will drive enrollment management efforts by analyzing student progression, coordinating with Advising and Academic Affairs, and strengthening stackable credential pathways to support student success and completion.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Two years of management and supervision experience in education.

Responsibilities

• Use data to identify opportunities to increase credential completion.
• Coordinate with Advising, Academic Affairs, and other areas to support proactive completion strategies.
• Analyze progression patterns to identify barriers and improve scheduling, modality, and prerequisites.
• Lead PLA, transfer credit, articulation, and other mechanisms to recognize prior learning.
• Monitor funding formula data and report to leadership for strategic decisions.
• Oversee records and registration processes, including calendar and scheduling across modalities.
