Kansas City Area Transportation Authority is seeking a Recruitment/HR Specialist to manage the full recruitment lifecycle—from posting and sourcing to interviewing and onboarding—while ensuring compliance with the CBA and employment laws.

The role supports hiring managers, coordinates internal postings, and helps drive fair, timely hiring in a unionized public-sector environment. Strong Excel skills and HRIS familiarity are required.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field or equivalent work experience.
• 2–5 years of experience in recruitment or HR.
• Understanding of CBAs and employment law.
• Strong HR compliance knowledge and excellent communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate full recruitment process: postings, sourcing, screening, interviewing and onboarding.
• Partner with hiring managers to determine staffing needs and draft job descriptions.
• Ensure compliance with employment laws and CBA provisions.
• Support internal postings, transfers, and seniority/bid procedures per CBA.
• Maintain candidate communications and participate in job fairs and outreach.
