Job summary

CrossCountry Freight Solutions is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist in Kansas City KS or nearby areas to lead full lifecycle recruitment. You will source candidates, post roles, conduct phone screens, manage background checks, and support onboarding for new hires while maintaining confidentiality and a strong candidate experience.

The role requires at least 2 years in recruiting, familiarity with ATS (Workday), and the ability to travel for events and coverage in multiple locations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of recruiting experience.
• Onboarding experience preferred.
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance and industry requirements (DOT/FMCSA preferred).
• Proficient with Microsoft Office 365 and able to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Maintain Workday ATS and ensure open positions are up-to-date.
• Source passive candidates using LinkedIn, Facebook, Indeed and other platforms.
• Create and manage job postings across social media channels.
• Coordinate and conduct phone interviews and manage pre-screen and background checks.
• Oversee candidate experience from application to training completion and assist onboarding as needed.
• Travel to job fairs and recruitment events as required.
