Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Insurance, Real Estate, Finance, or closely related field and six years of real estate experience including right of way acquisition, relocation, property management and relocation assistance for federally funded programs; OR an equivalent combination.
• Four years of leadership, budgeting, planning and workforce management experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversees real property acquisition, relocation, and management for multiple projects; ensures compliance with laws, policies and guidelines.
• Leads the Real Property Division within DECM; develops programs for acquisition, relocation, appraisals, title procurement and TOD.
• Negotiates and resolves difficult issues with property owners and stakeholders; represents real property in community meetings and to the Board.
