Sound Transit in Seattle, WA is seeking a Deputy Director - Real Property to lead acquisition, relocation, and property management for major transit projects. Hybrid work model in Seattle with a competitive compensation package.

The role requires strategic oversight of real estate programs, strong leadership, and extensive experience in acquisitions, appraisals, and negotiations with diverse stakeholders.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Insurance, Real Estate, Finance, or closely related field; six years of real estate experience.
• Four years of leadership, budgetary, planning and workforce management experience.
• Experience in real property acquisition, relocation, and disposition for federally funded programs.

Mansioni

• Plans, directs, coordinates, and reviews the work of Real Property staff and support teams.
• Oversees right of way acquisition, relocation, and disposition activities to maximize federal participation.
• Provides acquisition strategy, negotiates with property owners, and represents the division at meetings.
• Participates in budget development and monitoring for the Real Property division.
• Ensures compliance with federal/state laws and agency policies in real property transactions.
