Job summary

Amtrak is seeking a Real Estate Leasing professional to support a large portfolio of agreements and projects. You will assist in preparing agreements, addressing property management issues, and producing lease renewal reports while coordinating with Senior Real Estate Managers to drive successful outcomes.

The role requires strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills, with the ability to manage complex projects across internal and external stakeholders in a nationwide railroad

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education, training and/or relevant experience.
• Plus 7 years of relevant work experience.
• Plus 9 years of relevant work experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and manage monthly lease renewal report including the handling of all lease renewals and extensions
• Manage and resolve property management issues, ownership disputes
• Draft and negotiate various types of real estate agreements including leases, easements, and access licenses
• Provide real estate information and support to Amtrak departments, government agencies, third party inquiries, and other organizations to resolve property maintenance issues, code violations, claim cases, environmental concerns, police and security
• Ability to manage and understand complex projects that require coordination with various internal and external stakeholders and supply relative real estate information and agreements
• Review and analyze operational expense reports for accuracy

Education

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education, training and/or relevant experience.

Plus 7 years of relevant work experience.
