Job summary

Amtrak is seeking an entry-level Real Estate Associate to support managing the organization’s real estate portfolio. You will assist with maintaining property records, conducting research, and transaction-related activities alongside senior team members.

You will help prepare reports and updates, coordinate with stakeholders, and ensure compliance with regulations and policies as part of a collaborative, safety-conscious environment at Amtrak.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education, training and/or relevant experience.
• Experience interpreting legal and technical documents and agreements.
• Work experience in law, title, insurance, or appraisal industries.

Responsibilities

• Maintain real estate records, databases, and documentation related to leases, licenses, easements, permits, and property interests.
• Perform research and analysis on property ownership, land use, market conditions, and transaction-related information.
• Assist in the coordination of property acquisitions, dispositions, lease agreements, and renewals under the guidance of senior staff.
• Prepare reports, presentations, and recommendations regarding real estate activities, portfolio performance, and project status.
• Build productive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support the timely completion of real estate transactions and projects.
• Ensure assigned activities are completed in accordance with applicable regulations, company policies, and established real estate procedures.
