Blue Origin is seeking an experienced real estate and construction attorney to serve as lead counsel across the company's real estate life cycle, from due diligence to transactional execution and ongoing compliance. This role collaborates with facilities, operations, and government relations to advance infrastructure objectives across the U.S.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school and bar membership in good standing.
• 7+ years of legal experience in real estate and/or construction contracting.
• Ability to lead multi-site due diligence and complex transactions.
• Ability to communicate clearly with executives and teams.

Responsabilités

• Lead counsel across Blue Origin's real estate life cycle, partnering with the FMSO team from site identification and due diligence through transactional execution and ongoing compliance.
• Draft, review and negotiate real estate agreements including LOIs, leases, purchase agreements, estoppels, SNDAs, licenses, and NDAs.
• Lead construction legal support including contract drafting, claim management, dispute resolution, and regulatory compliance.
• Conduct real estate due diligence, review title commitments, surveys, easements, and CC&Rs; advise on zoning and permitting.
• Support incentives and site-selection with government authorities, including compliance obligations.
• Manage landlord and construction disputes in coordination with litigation counsel.
• Identify and elevate risks with cross-functional experts across compliance, tax, environment, and safety.
• Provide business-oriented counsel to executives and build scalable processes and tools.
