Job summary

Convene Health is seeking a seasoned RCM Client Engagement Manager to oversee day-to-day client relationships, from discovery to renewal. You will coordinate with Implementation and IT teams to ensure alignment with contract commitments and KPI targets, particularly for rural health providers.

The role emphasizes strong facilitation, executive communication, and proactive risk management, with a focus on expanding service scope and delivering tangible value to hospital revenue cycle leadership.

Qualifications

• Strong facilitation and executive communication skills.
• People-management experience with directing internal and client stakeholders.
• Must have working fluency in RCM terminology for hospital finance leadership.
• Strong knowledge of revenue cycle processes and KPIs.
• Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and summarize findings clearly.
• Support process improvement efforts and identify root causes.
• Translate ambiguity into crisp plans with owners and timelines.
• Long-term relationship management including renewals and negotiations.
• Able to read early signals of account risk and act quickly.

Responsibilities

• Leads structured discovery with hospital revenue cycle and finance leadership, capturing objectives and success measures across F, M, B revenue cycle functions.
• Documents baseline RCM performance and identifies gaps against current service catalog.
• Collaborates with implementation to adapt plans for client.
• Sets priorities with Implementation PMs and ensures milestones stay aligned with commitments.
• Updates client stakeholders on implementation progress and pre-go-live readiness.
• Serves as the primary day-to-day contact for operational needs and strategic initiatives for the contract duration.
• Supports quarterly business reviews and KPI performance reporting.
• Looks for expansion opportunities and facilitates scope adjustments with stakeholders.
• Manages offboarding and transition when contracts end or scope reduces.
• Maintains clarity on RCM scope, timelines, and KPI expectations from day one.
