Job summary

nVent seeks a procurement professional to monitor demand, place raw material POs, and manage supplier performance in a manufacturing setting. You will analyze data, coordinate with planning and cross-functional teams, and optimize inventory and BOM requirements to ensure timely production.

The role requires experience with ERP/MRP systems (Oracle preferred) and strong organizational skills. This on-site position supports production commitments with potential overtime to meet deadlines.

Qualifications

• High School Degree or equivalent.
• 3+ years of supply chain, procurement, or related experience preferred.
• Experience with ERP and MRP systems; Oracle preferred.
• Excellent organization, time management, problem-solving, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Monitor demand signals and place purchase orders for raw material needs.
• Manage open purchase orders and supplier delivery performance.
• Maintain accurate demand and procurement data.
• Analyze supply risks and collaborate with suppliers and Strategic Sourcing on solutions.
• Communicate material availability with Production Planning, Operations, and cross-functional teams.
• Use analytics to optimize inventory levels and stock positions.
• Coordinate return material authorizations for defective materials.
• Maintain supplier relationships and participate in business reviews.
• Manage corporate P-Card purchasing and ensure timely reconciliation using Concur.
• Analyze BOMs to determine material requirements and execute POs.
• Available to work overtime as required to support production and commitments.
