Job summary

Amentum seeks an Operational Engineering Advisor to provide wide-ranging technical support to the Space Force Range Contract, including planning, liaison and documentation tasks. You will coordinate with Range customers and Space Launch Delta 30 at VSFB and 45 at PSFB, delivering technical summaries and ensuring requirements align with government expectations.

Ideal candidates hold a STEM degree, 3+ years in a technical role, MBSE experience, and the ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance; a

Requires a STEM degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
3+ years in a technical role.
Experience with MBSE tools.
Experience with government/military engineering teams.
Must be able to obtain DoD Secret clearance (US citizenship).
Valid U.S. Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

Coordinate communication among Range customers and Space Force stakeholders at VSFB and PSFB.
Provide technical support to Range Operations planning and UDS inputs.
Attend formal meetings and deliver technical summaries to Range Operations.
Ensure user requirements align with government interpretations and Range capabilities.
Assist Range Users with requirements processing through UDS and related processes.
Coordinate solutions, notify government liaison of issues, and provide status updates.
Support internal engineering tasks including annual spend planning.
