Job summary

SARA, a Defense R&D enterprise, seeks a Program Manager for its High Power Electromagnetics Division in Colorado Springs, CO. You will lead multiple R&D programs, coordinate with government sponsors, and drive end-user product delivery while mentoring engineers and scientists in a multidisciplinary environment.

Ideal candidates will manage cost/schedule, communicate clearly across teams, and help guide strategic planning and customer interactions. On-site role with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field required.
• Must have multiple program management experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing cost, schedule, and tasking for multiple R&D programs.
• Liaise between customers, technical lead, and engineering team to align objectives.
• Provide leadership to multi-disciplinary teams to meet milestones on time.
• Communicate program directions to all skill levels, from technicians to scientists.
• Prepare technical proposals, including requirements, schedules, budgets, and risks.
