Job summary

Stanley Electric US CO is seeking an experienced Purchasing Manager to lead the Supplier Development (PSD) function in London, OH. The role focuses on strengthening supplier relationships, reducing supply risk, and maintaining competitive edge, with full ownership of PSD operations.

Responsibilities include strategic sourcing, ensuring regulatory and customer specification compliance, and driving continuous improvement across the supplier base.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in Purchasing and Project Management.
• At least 2 years of supervisory experience.
• Experience applying regulations and customer specifications in new product environments.
• Experience with Quality Auditing.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership through performance planning and feedback to achieve department targets.
• Facilitate sourcing for new models, parts, materials, and mass production products.
• Ensure capability to meet customer specs and regulations with new model schedules.
• Monitor and evaluate Supplier Quality concerns to improve product performance and reduce costs.
• Enforce company and departmental policies, procedures, and work instructions for PSD staff.
