Job summary

Stanley Electric US is seeking a Purchasing Specialist for Logistics, Customs & Tariffs to manage material movement globally while ensuring compliance with U.S. regulations. This role supports sourcing decisions by evaluating total landed cost and optimizing logistics, tariffs, and supplier relationships.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years in Purchasing/Logistics, global sourcing experience, and familiarity with USMCA. On-site in London, OH; visa sponsorship not available.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to evaluate total landed cost and make sourcing recommendations.
• Experience coordinating with Purchasing, Logistics, Customs Brokers and Suppliers.
• Familiarity with U.S. customs regulations and international trade requirements.

Responsibilities

• Manage movement of purchased materials from suppliers worldwide while ensuring compliance with U.S. Customs regulations and tariff requirements.
• Work with Purchasing, Logistics, Customs Brokers, Suppliers, Finance and Engineering to ensure on-time delivery and cost targets.
• Coordinate domestic and international transportation; schedule ocean, air, truck, rail, and courier shipments.
• Analyze total landed cost by supplier and country; identify opportunities to reduce freight and duty expenses.
• Maintain tariff classification, origin, and export/import documentation; support customs ruling and regulatory updates.
