Job summary

I I Stanley Company, Inc. is a Michigan-based automotive lighting supplier seeking a skilled purchaser/engineer. The role focuses on qualifying suppliers, developing target pricing, and supporting PPAP while coordinating with product design teams on materials for new products.

The position requires 2–5 years in purchasing or engineering, a bachelor’s degree in Business or Supply Chain Management, and strong analytical and communication skills. On-site work with full benefits is offered.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years’ experience in purchasing or engineering.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the quality of products and process of the supplier base through qualification/audit.
• Support customer quotation process by developing target pricing and issuing RFQs.
• Complete the purchasing portion of customer quotes to attain target pricing.
• Support PPAP system with suppliers.
• Identify and qualify new suppliers.
• Collaborate with product designers on materials for new products.
• Track projects to ensure cost projections and timelines.
• Determine proper material sources and manage sourcing requisitions.
• Facilitate smooth transition of new product purchasing to purchasing administrator.
• Support localization process.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
