Staffmark is seeking an experienced Purchasing Supervisor for our Belcamp, MD facility. The role focuses on leading the purchasing function, buying raw materials, forecasting demand, and negotiating with suppliers to maintain quality and cost targets.

You will work with production, R&D, and logistics to ensure on-time delivery and regulatory compliance, including FDA/USDA standards. An ERP upgrade project is part of the role, offering growth in a growing team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Management, or related field.
• 3–5 years of purchasing/procurement experience.
• Strong negotiation and forecasting skills.
• Experience with ERP/procurement software and MS Office.
• Ability to work onsite five days a week in Belcamp, MD.

Responsabilités

• Supervise and develop purchasing staff and processes.
• Lead procurement of raw materials, packaging, and indirect supplies.
• Review production schedules to forecast material needs.
• Monitor inventory to align with production plans.
• Negotiate pricing, delivery, and contract terms with suppliers.
• Support ERP implementation and system migration.
