Job summary

Windstar Cruises, LLC. is seeking a seasoned Purchasing professional to manage global loading and provisioning for assigned vessels, lead regional sourcing, and ensure timely payment and vessel receiving. You will partner with hotel operations and supply chain leadership to meet budgets and uphold ethics.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in business or related field and 3+ years in purchasing within hospitality or F&B, with strong Excel, MS Office, and supplier relationship skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field with at least 3 years in purchasing in F&B or hospitality.
• Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.
• Advanced MS Office, especially Word and Excel, plus purchasing software.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
• Experience in international sourcing preferred; cruise/hospitality exp preferred.
• CPM or other supply chain certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage global loading schedule and provisioning for assigned vessel(s).
• Lead regional supplier sourcing, bids, and award decisions.
• Manage vessel quality and discrepancy reporting with vendors and staff.
• Oversee PO process, vendor confirmation, delivery, pricing, and receiving within 72 hours.
• Process vendor invoices and maintain auditable voyage files.
• Collaborate with Hotel Ops Director/GM to uphold purchasing standards.
• Support onboard operations to meet budgeted commodity guidelines.
• Build and maintain strong supplier relationships per ethics guidelines.
• Plan and execute additional projects as assigned.
• Deliver best-in-class service with a servant leadership approach.
