Job summary

KBR, Inc. is seeking a Senior Purchasing Specialist to support large EPC projects by managing the procurement of goods and services under direct supervision.

As owner representative, you will negotiate supplier terms, secure cost efficiencies, and coordinate with operations, maintenance, warehouse, and engineering teams to ensure timely material flow. The role requires cradle-to-grave purchasing, strong analytical skills, and experience with e-procurement tools, with readiness to relocate to EPC

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or Business and 6+ years in procurement with EPC experience.
• Experience in bid/evaluate/award cycles and contract administration.
• Proven track record in cost reduction programs.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
• Experience using e-procurement tools (e-bidding/e-auctions).
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in MS Office.
• Experience as PMC or overseeing procurement by other EPCs.

Responsibilities

• Oversee cradle-to-grave purchasing for a commodity group or project.
• Negotiate favorable terms, discounts, and long-term contracts.
• Drive cost reductions and forecast cost drivers.
• Develop sourcing strategies aligned with engineering and project needs.
• Coordinate with operations, maintenance, and engineering to ensure timely material flow.
