Job summary

KBR Sustainable Technology Solutions (STS) is seeking a Project Procurement Manager to oversee all procurement and materials management for a large capital project within an EPC environment. You will lead strategies for engineered equipment, bulk materials, and construction services, ensuring DPAS/FAR compliance and alignment with project timelines and budgets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (SCM, engineering, business).
• Master’s degree or professional certifications (CPSM/CIPS/PMP) preferred.
• 10–15+ years procurement or supply chain experience in EPC or large capital projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the Project Procurement Execution Plan aligned with contract requirements and project schedule.
• Lead supplier prequalification, bid strategy development, solicitation, evaluation and award recommendations.
• Negotiate commercial terms in compliance with contracts, FAR/DPAS flow-down and government clauses.
• Monitor procurement costs against the approved project budget and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Coordinate expediting, inspection, materials management, and logistics to meet schedules.
• Interface with Engineering to align specs and vendor data, support construction readiness and field procurement issues.
• Support compliance with DPAS, DPAS priority requirements, and government-mandated schedules.
• Lead procurement staff, set expectations, and promote disciplined execution and compliance.
