Job summary

KBR is seeking a Senior Purchasing Specialist to manage procurement for large EPC projects. You will negotiate supplier terms, drive cost reductions, and coordinate with operations, maintenance, warehousing, and engineering to ensure timely material flow.

The role demands cradle-to-grave purchasing expertise and strong supplier relationship management. Candidates should have an undergraduate degree in Supply Chain Management or Business and 6+ years in procurement within global EPC settings,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or Business preferred.
• 6+ years of Procurement and SCM experience in global EPC.
• Experience with bids, evaluations, awards, and contract changes.
• Strong cost reduction and negotiation capabilities.
• Proficient in MS Office and e-procurement tools.

Responsibilities

• Execute cradle to grave purchasing for a specific commodity group or Project.
• Negotiate favorable terms, volume discounts and long-term contracts with suppliers.
• Drive cost reduction initiatives for a specific Project or Category.
• Forecast the key cost drivers and market factors for the assigned Category group.
• Develop category sourcing strategies to support objectives and align with Engineering.
• Identify corrective actions for quality or schedule issues with suppliers.
• Coordinate with Engineering and project teams to ensure timely material flow.
