Job summary

KBR is seeking a Purchasing Specialist to support large EPC projects by managing the procurement of goods and services, negotiating favorable terms, and ensuring timely delivery.

You will collaborate with operations, maintenance, warehouse, and engineering teams to resolve issues, track cost drivers, and build a reliable supplier base. The role requires strong communication, analytical skills, and experience with procurement processes in a global EPC environment.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in Supply Chain or Business.
• 3+ years of procurement and supply chain management in a global EPC.
• Experience in bid, evaluate, award, and contract changes.

Responsibilities

• Execute cradle to grave purchasing activities for a specific commodity group or project.
• Negotiate favorable terms, volume discounts and long-term contracts with suppliers.
• Drive cost reduction initiatives for a Project or Category.
• Coordinate with Operations, Maintenance, Warehouse and Engineering teams to ensure timely material flow.
• Close out procurement operations and resolve punch list items.
