Job summary

DynaTen Corporation, a Comfort Systems USA Company, is seeking a Purchasing Manager to lead centralized purchasing for large commercial mechanical projects in North Texas. You will drive strategic sourcing, supplier negotiations, PO oversight, and delivery coordination to support budgets and schedules.

Responsibilities include establishing procedures, managing multi-project procurement, reviewing requirements, bidding, negotiating terms, monitoring supplier performance, and generating spend

Qualifications

• 7–10 years in purchasing, procurement, or construction operations.
• Experience managing purchasing across multiple projects and negotiating supplier agreements.
• Experience with ERP software and Microsoft Office, including strong Excel.

Responsibilities

• Lead centralized purchasing operations for large commercial projects.
• Establish and maintain purchasing procedures and guidelines.
• Manage procurement across multiple projects and review material requirements.
• Lead bidding and supplier quotation processes; negotiate terms.
• Develop preferred supplier relationships to consolidate volume and improve pricing.
• Monitor supplier performance and resolve pricing, delivery, and quality issues.
• Oversee creation, approval, and tracking of purchase orders.
• Coordinate with accounting on invoices, receipts, and PO closeout.
• Provide spend analysis, forecasts, and supplier performance data to management.
• Supervise and train purchasing staff.
