Qualifications

• At least 10 years of commercial mechanical construction experience with progressive leadership.
• Ability to plan labor and materials, read schedules, and lead safe, productive installation work.
• Strong knowledge of drawings, specs, codes, testing requirements, and quality standards.
• Ability to use mobile devices and standard construction software for drawings, reporting, time, and documentation.
• Strong communication, coaching, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple large or complex project teams on commercial HVAC, plumbing, piping, and related mechanical systems.
• Build and communicate portfolio work plans using drawings, schedules, budgets, labor, material status, and constraints.
• Plan manpower, tools, equipment, access, prefabrication, deliveries, and work areas to support reliable production.
• Review project documents, identify constructability issues and scope gaps, and elevate RFIs.
• Coordinate sequencing with project management, general contractors, other trades, vendors, inspectors, and commissioning teams.
• Verify installations against drawings, specs, codes, submittals, and quality checklists; drive timely corrections.
• Track installed quantities, labor performance, schedule status, material needs, and constraints; provide daily/weekly reporting.
• Coach employees, assign work, document performance, and address conduct or performance concerns.
