Job summary

DynaTen Corporation in the Dallas/Fort Worth area seeks a Purchasing Manager - Centralized Purchasing to lead strategic sourcing, supplier negotiations, and purchase order oversight for large commercial mechanical construction projects.

You will work with project operations, Estimating, Accounting, warehouse and fabrication teams to ensure competitive, accurate procurement aligned with budgets and schedules, while standardizing purchasing practices.

Qualifications

• 7–10+ years in purchasing, procurement, or construction operations.
• Experience managing purchasing across multiple projects and negotiating supplier agreements.
• Experience developing or implementing purchasing procedures and internal controls.
• Knowledge of construction materials, budgets, schedules, and cost codes.
• Proficiency with ERP or procurement software and Excel.
• Strong leadership, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to balance cost, quality, material availability, and schedule in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the daily operation of DynaTen's centralized purchasing process.
• Establish and maintain purchasing procedures, approval requirements, and guidelines.
• Manage procurement activities across multiple large projects.
• Review material requirements and requisitions with project teams for completeness and delivery dates.
• Lead competitive bidding and supplier quotation processes, evaluating pricing and value.
• Negotiate supplier pricing, terms, and purchasing agreements.
• Develop preferred supplier relationships and consolidate purchasing volume.
• Monitor supplier performance and resolve issues affecting cost or delivery.
• Oversee creation, approval, issuance, tracking, and closeout of purchase orders.
• Provide spend analysis, forecasts, and supplier performance information to management.
