Job summary

DynaTen Corporation is seeking a Project Executive to join our Construction team. This role leads a team of Senior Project Managers and Project Managers to plan, execute, and finalize multiple commercial mechanical and plumbing projects, ensuring alignment with design specs, budgets, and deadlines.

Responsibilities include cost control, schedule management, procurement oversight, and contract negotiations, with a strong emphasis on safety and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 15+ years’ experience on commercial mechanical or plumbing construction projects
• 5-10+ years in leadership roles (Senior PM, Operations Manager, or Executive level)
• Degree in Construction Management or Mechanical Engineering or 15 years equivalent
• Experience managing multiple concurrent projects, each with a minimum value of $35 million
• 10 years minimum experience leading direct reports
• 10 years experience with project cost to complete, financials and close outs
• 10 years experience with contract review and project setup from Preconstruction to Operations
• OSHA 10 Hour and OSHA 30 Hour required
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Experience with self-performed mechanical scopes (HVAC, piping, plumbing)
• Proven leadership in a team environment
• Proficiency with COINS or similar cost tracking software, Procore, Autodesk Liquid Cloud, Bluebeam, Primavera, and Microsoft Office Suite

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop teams of Senior Project Managers, Project Managers, Assistant Project Managers, and Project Engineers
• Oversee multiple commercial mechanical and/or plumbing construction projects to ensure adherence to design, budget and schedule
• Review and approve project plans, schedules and value of changes; identify cost-saving opportunities
• Manage project cost breakdowns, schedule of values, and project billings
• Coordinate with general contractors, vendors, and subcontractors on schedules, RFIs and change orders
• Monitor safety across all sites and enforce safety practices
• Lead contract negotiations with General Contractors, Owners, and Subcontractors
• Provide leadership for post-construction reviews and project closeouts
• Manage P&L across multiple projects and pursue strategic opportunities
• Mentor staff and ensure alignment with company standards and financial requirements
