SERVPRO of Columbia County is seeking a Purchasing Manager to oversee procurement for mitigation and reconstruction projects. You will manage vendor relationships, negotiate pricing, and ensure timely, cost-effective purchasing of materials and services to protect project profitability.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain relationships with vendors, subcontractors, and suppliers
• Source, evaluate, and onboard new vendors to ensure quality, reliability, and competitive pricing
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts to maximize cost savings and support gross profit goals
• Create, review, and track purchase orders to ensure accuracy and timely delivery of materials
• Collaborate with project managers, estimators, and operations teams to align purchasing with project scopes and budgets
• Monitor material costs and market trends to proactively manage expenses
• Support gross profit targets on reconstruction jobs through strategic purchasing and cost control
• Resolve vendor issues, including delays, quality concerns, and billing discrepancies
• Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing agreements, and vendor performance
• Ensure compliance with company policies, insurance requirements, and industry standards
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs
• Assist with inventory management and material forecasting as needed
