Job summary

Rite-Hite Doors, Inc. seeks a procurement leader to guide a team of Buyers at the Dubuque plant. You will develop site-level sourcing strategies, negotiate contracts, and manage supplier performance to ensure cost efficiency and supply continuity.

You will partner with Production, Engineering, and Global Supply Chain to align purchasing with demand and capacity. You will also lead cross-functional collaboration, optimize inventory and replenishment, and drive continuous improvement in purchasing

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
Minimum 3 years of progressive purchasing or supply chain experience in manufacturing.
Strong supplier negotiation and contract management skills.
Experience with sourcing strategies and supplier performance management.
Understanding of inventory management and replenishment models, including VMI.

Responsibilities

Lead, develop, and manage a team of Buyers and/or Senior Buyers; set priorities and coach.
Develop site-level sourcing strategies to ensure supply continuity and cost competitiveness.
Build strategic supplier relationships and manage supplier performance via scorecards and metrics.
Lead supplier selection, pricing, and contract negotiations; approve site-level agreements.
Forecast demand, manage inventory, and balance cost with working capital.
