Job summary

Door Controls USA is seeking an experienced Director of Procurement to lead strategic sourcing, supplier management, and purchasing. This leadership role ensures materials and services are acquired cost-effectively while supporting growth, customer satisfaction, and profitability.

You’ll guide a procurement team, drive supplier relationships, and optimize processes in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, partnering with multiple departments to resolve challenges and deliver results.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations, or related field.
• 7+ years of progressive procurement or sourcing leadership experience in manufacturing.
• 3+ years of experience leading and developing teams.
• Proven ability to negotiate supplier agreements and manage strategic relationships.
• Strong analytical, financial and business acumen; experience with ERP and procurement software.
• Experience with global sourcing, multi-location manufacturing; CPSM/CSCP a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute procurement strategies to support growth and profitability.
• Lead and develop a high-performing procurement team through coaching and accountability.
• Build and maintain strategic supplier relationships; negotiate contracts and terms.
• Identify cost-reduction opportunities and mitigate supply chain risk.
• Partner with Operations, Manufacturing, Engineering, Inventory, Finance, and Sales to ensure material availability.
• Monitor market trends, supplier performance, tariffs, and pricing for informed decisions.
• Drive improvements through reporting, scorecards, and process optimization.
• Lead strategic sourcing initiatives, supplier evaluations, and business reviews.
• Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and objectives.
