Job summary

Rite-Hite, a global leader in loading dock and door equipment, seeks a Strategic Sourcing Specialist to drive material cost productivity and supplier development. You will lead RFx processes, negotiate favorable contracts, and collaborate with engineering and operations to ensure high-quality, cost-effective sourcing across the supply base.

Ideal candidates bring 3+ years in strategic sourcing, strong data analytics, and experience with ERP and supplier relationship software.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
• 3 years of experience in Strategic Sourcing or related work environment.
• Knowledge of supplier contracts, product conformity, quality toolbox and problem-solving methodologies.
• Proficiency in data analysis and procurement tools.

Responsibilities

• Identify and deliver material cost productivity through TCO improvements and VA/VE, should-cost modeling, price negotiation and design-to-cost initiatives.
• Manage supplier expectations and performance, driving corrective action using data analytics.
• Develop, negotiate, and execute supplier agreements with best-in-class services.
• Lead New Product Innovation projects from sourcing by leveraging preferred supplier programs.
• Identify new suppliers to support lifecycle product strategy for new or end-of-life products.
• Utilize supplier relationship software to improve supplier execution.
• Develop RFx processes and analyze benchmarking information including risks and financial, capacity, quality, and compliance issues.
• Optimize the supply chain from suppliers to customers with market-driven responsiveness.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, quality and other stakeholders to meet sourcing requirements.
